Yep the above link works, this section of the wall is next to the laundry door.
It looks quite odd, and the tiny holes do not go all the way through to the other side of bricks.
I can't see anything.

He had us spray paint the frame areas we wished for additional noggins/timber and he organized the chippys to do it. No cost they just used some left over frame timber. As some mounts vary in there placement we had them do an area about 400 - 500mm high just below centre upwards of the nook. Re: Who is building with Beechwood 12955Jul 22, 2016 4:24 pm nataliea Hi all. We are currently in the construction phase (they are currently doing external drainage) and I wanted to know at what stage are you introduced to your site supervisor or get any sort of constant communication from Beechwood to let you know where they are at. The only communication from Beechwood we have received is a letter at the very start of construction saying this is the person to contact regarding any questions, and we got a call from them saying our piering was booked it if we wanted to go and watch. Other than that - nothing. They have done our site prep, slab is done and as I said, they are doing our external drainage, and windows have been delivered. The only way we know whats going on is by visiting the site ourselves. Am I expecting too much? Im a first time builder, Im just finding communication very poor. We are at the same point as you. Slab went in last saturday. External plumbing booked for tues/wed and frames delivered possibly next friday. Luckily for us we can not fault our concrete supervisor. He contacts us whenever things are happening and every friday to tell us where we are at. He has been fantastic and we are hoping our build supervisor will be just as great. We still do checks of the block every few days or daily if we know things are happening. We have just paid our first progress payment. Today we have the steel beam for over garage onsite. We've had a few days rain which slowed things up a bit here but noone to blame for that. arms38 Verdehlo5, we just spoke to our our supervisor about it. Re: Who is building with Beechwood 12960Jul 22, 2016 10:23 pm We are at handover stage now. My advice is just keep ringing and emailing your customer service representative to ask them all your questions and keep updated. There is a point (I think its after frames are up and electrical and plumbing is in), that you get invited to meet with the site supervisor to check everything is where it is supposed to be. And again towards the end of the build. I think if you want to meet your site supervisor and have some relevant questions now, you could always request to meet them onsite to speak over issues with them. As I discovered, you can also ask your c.s.rep to put you through to speak to your site supervisor on the phone. Ask lots of questions, as you won't always get told things. Most of us are not in the building game, and I don't think they are expecting us to know everything, but are pretty happy to answer your questions regarding build. We didn't always get a weekly update. Sometimes I had to contact them to check what was going on. As for wall mounted tv's. We asked the site supervisor about that when we were onsite with him. He just looked at the noggins in the niches where our electricals were located and fixed extra timber in them himself. Same in laundry for wall hung dryer (although I think I am going to end up putting this in the garage now). go upvc window frames ensure insulation under colorbond. not just sarking, lighter color roof also not sure if you have seen this viewtopic.php?t=5823 last couple of pages… 4 110703 Even if it's not being sub-divided and you want to keep it as Torrens title, you will still need to talk to a town planner or Council themselves, to see if they will allow… 1 11102 |
