Just been informed that its going to cost about $600 for power connection, does this sound about right??? really wasn't expecting this bill as I thought the connection was part of the build. Thanks Re: Who is building with Beechwood 4088Dec 01, 2013 4:43 pm Looks good Daniel! Hope they get as much done as possible before Christmas. Love your Moroka colour Grae - looks great! Wiz: hope you will get your house keys before X-mas Daniel: glad to see your building progress, looking good Building Verdelho 5 with Grand Terezza in The Ponds (Sydney) Re: Who is building with Beechwood 4094Dec 01, 2013 9:38 pm Vijay1 Thanks Dance Mum for those lovely photos Grae love your external colour, which colour did you use for moroka? Wiz: hopw you will get your house keys before X-mas Daniel: glad to see your building progress, looking good Vijay we used Pebble Bay for the Moroka. We are getting Surfmist garage door. Jasper roof and gutters. Surfmist fascia. Our front door and the timber strip at the front are Jarrah. The pic on here of our front door was after only one coat. It's since had another coat and some laquer so it is much darker. Really good to check out the dimensions and feel the space so to speak. We weren't impressed with the external scheme they've chosen though. And that whopper of a water tank is apparently 4000 ltrs! I think the change we've made to the window in bed 5 to a sliding door will work well now that I've seen the grand terrazza. Big drive for us (from Beverly Hills) but well worth it. Big delay for us now though as hubby has spinal surgery this month and our new garage is built in the back - need to replenish our funds again! Definately a big drive - we took our 2 small kids and it was a long long day! Fingerscrossed - how much are they charging you to change the window to a sliding door? My DH wan't to do this as well as Bed 5 is going to be our office (that and the wall kinda looked weird with the window there). I agree about the external scheme - wasn't what I would have chosen! I am also glad that I am removing the linen cupboard in the halway and extending the WIP - it was a bit teeny tiny for my liking! Re: Who is building with Beechwood 4100Dec 02, 2013 8:41 am Thanks for the pics Dancemum! We plan to get down there next weekend! But our drive isn't as long as yours! It looks great. Daniel - your home is coming together nicely! Wiz - any news???? It must be close?
