Thanks, Paige Re: Who is building with Beechwood 2623Jul 27, 2013 4:26 pm Our home Hey everyone, I was just wondering if anyone got a Ceasarstone bench top colour that wasn't in the very limited Beechwood options and if so how much did they charge to "upgrade" the colour? Thanks, Paige Ours was not in the upgrade range. However they don't itemised the colour upgrade its all inclusive in the line item for the cesar stone upgrade. This cost is about 5k. Our kitchen is pretty small though. Thanks, Paige Ours was not in the upgrade range. However they don't itemised the colour upgrade its all inclusive in the line item for the cesar stone upgrade. This cost is about 5k. Our kitchen is pretty small though. We chose our stone bench top from the standard range and it was about $4k. Our kitchen is also smaller (Verdehlo twist), so I'm guessing the price difference must be about $1k. Re: Who is building with Beechwood 2625Jul 28, 2013 8:24 pm In our home we went with osprey and its a standard color, ours was $6k and is a large kitchen In the merlot which we are building now, we wanted a black stone bench top but was kinda disappointed it wasn't a standard color, so have now decided to go with osprey again 2011 Beachwood Homes - Lakeview Lodge with triple garage 2013-Beechwood Homes - Merlot with guest (investment) Re: Who is building with Beechwood 2626Jul 28, 2013 10:00 pm Our standard Caesarstone was $4500...we chose Urban. Our kitchen was not small, nor really large though....I was curious about the extra cost for non standard, but didn't end up asking. They had a really small range of standard colours, and when we went to the kitchen place half of their BW selections were crossed out or they didn't have samples to look at...Pretty crappy really when it came to the Caesarstone selections. What are the odds that they will go over the estimate? They say I can be present to see them poured but I don't know what the point is I won't know what I'm looking at. I'm not a concreter/builder My Build thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=60910 Re: Who is building with Beechwood 2634Jul 30, 2013 7:01 pm Wiz that looks so cool! Bifolds - I'm totally jelly!! They wanted a whole bunch for ours and after everything we already spent the $$ on we just couldn't justify going over our budget for doors. My Build thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=60910 Re: Who is building with Beechwood 2635Jul 30, 2013 7:13 pm Hey Daniel....we were there for the piers, I liked that. The concreter dude was this old bloke who has obviously done this forever! was really cool. Some of our piers were super deep, up to 4m, but it has to be even across the site from my understanding, it has to be the same consistency. We originally had 85l/m included in our tender, when the engineering report came back, they bumped it to 110l/m, so had to pay an extra $2k (close to it anyway) it came in around 101l/m, so we will get a small credit. Go if you can, it's cool to see the big concrete truck! What did they estimate for you? What have you heard about the soil near you? We had lots of fill, hence the extra deep holes. (bi-folds were massively overpriced, could have spent better elsewhere, but I was super keen and hubby folded ) Wiz Built @ Brooks Reach Built the Verdelho Guest with Beechwood Re: Who is building with Beechwood 2636Jul 30, 2013 8:27 pm This has me worried now as the tender says 75 meters. I know the slab report has the site rated as a 'p'. I asked if this meant more cost and they said no. Fingers crossed. It's a very flat block so I'm hoping that means I don't need as much. If I get hit another 2k I could probably cop that but if another 5 would make things a bit harder especially as finance is already locked down. My Build thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=60910 Re: Who is building with Beechwood 2637Aug 01, 2013 9:54 pm LITTLEJ....How did your walk thru go???? Do tell...and more pics please! They didn't quite get our roof trusses up today, I'm thinking it should be done by tomorrow arvo - half the trusses were laid out in the block next door. Our bi-fold door was sitting at the front door which was kinda exciting to see! (cost us a bloody fortune, it had BETTER look fantastic once it's in!!) we chose anordic grey matt (I think, for our window/door colours) Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Uploaded with ImageShack.com Wiz Built @ Brooks Reach Built the Verdelho Guest with Beechwood Re: Who is building with Beechwood 2638Aug 02, 2013 1:54 pm Hi!
