Well, here goes...
The dream of owning our own house (one day) was always in the back of our heads. As a young family, we kept postponing the idea because of unforseen expenses here and there and trips overseas to visit our relatives. After the big market crash in '08, we thought it was a serious time to consider finally getting out of the rent rut With a higher FHOG and decreased house prices, we thought it was a good time to join the real estate market. So, my husband and I got our "act" together (and our deposit) around late '09 and then nervoulsy applied for a pre-approval from ANZ. When we got that, we confidently (and happily) shopped for a block of land. http://i167.photobucket.com/albums/u158/joglynne/smillies/tn_bigstockphoto_Smiley_Emoticon_Sh.jpg
.... And so began our relationship with HUNT CLUB and DENNIS FAMILY HOMES::
I luckily stumbled on this website when I was googling "Building with Dennis Family Homes". I wanted some feedback regarding their workmanship. When I started reading a thread or two, I knew I was in the right place. So many things to learn from other people's build and it's soooooooooo GOOD to know that we are not alone - the issues we're facing, the questions we have, the excitement, the colour choices, the designs...this is definitley a one stop shop!
I hope we learn lots and lots of things together from each other's build and please keep those feedback and stories coming because they do guide us in this winding and crazy world of FIRST HOME BUILDING

P.S. How do I upload photos and why does it say "Sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached."
