Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Apr 10, 2010 8:25 am I would love to do all 4 inspections but financially thats not possible. So we decided to do 2 Inspections ,either a Frame stage Inspectionor or Pre Plaster Inspection and Pre Handover Inspection. Alex from Urban property inspections (highly recommended on this site) suggested I do a frame stage inspection. His reasons were ,at lock up all of the frame cannot be inspected and any bottom plate over hang ,roof truss installation and bracing is covered up. Pre Plaster inspection also picks up bits of the frame not all of it ,but its more comprehensive in that the plumbing ,electrical, brickwork, clearance between window sills, articulation joints, flashing, weepholes etc. He said at the prehandover inspection we will get a chance to pick up all of the above . What will you do? Re: What would you do frame Stage or Pre Plaster inspection 2Apr 10, 2010 9:57 am Hi Andy, We are having a pre-plaster inspection and then another one at PCI.
