In keeping with the usual run of 'issues', it would seem that whilst we do have council approval BUT only if we change the walls in the garage to double leaf instead of single. Now that is not as easy as it seems as we would have to loose space in the bedrooms and laundry to accomodate the extra width of bricks.
Plus my hubby is in a flap over who is at fault (ie. does it mean that the plans were submitted to council without meeting the energy requirements, or is it a structural issue) Anyhoo rather than just accepting thats how it is and changing it and moving on, he is focused on finding out the reason why (and no doubt seeking redress for it)
he frustrates me no end sometimes. Needless to say we have very differeing opinions on how to proceed and what the priority is (me = get this fanarking house built, him = prolong the whole process by getting in a flap over something we cannot change)
Happy household once again
I had to laugh at this post!! He sounds so much like my hubby!! The blame game just causes extra stress. I hope you get it sorted soon.
