Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Apr 09, 2010 8:51 am As the question says l was wondering how often people meet up with their site supervisor. We have just completed frame stage and have not met up with our SS. Also how often do you call your supervisor? Handover date 3rd August 2010 WOOHOO!!! Re: How often do you meet up with your SS? 2Apr 09, 2010 9:03 am Up until frame stage, the only contact I had with my SS was when I initiated it. The volume builder sends a survey out at frame stage and I canned the SS for his lack of communication. My SS now calls me religiously every Friday for an update We meet him on-site every 3 to 4 weeks to have a look. We happened to go take a look after the brickwork was complete and he was there doing his checks. We spoke for about 5mins and he went about his work. We've had no contact with him at all since then. Re: How often do you meet up with your SS? 5Apr 09, 2010 11:10 am I speak to my SS about twice a week and meet in person once a week. Re: How often do you meet up with your SS? 6Apr 09, 2010 11:34 am I’m up to bricking and I’ve never spoken to mine but he was kind enough to call my mum and introduce himself to her If I want to speak to him I have to call admin but I don’t think they pass on the messages they answer what they can and ignore the rest. Lucky for me I haven’t had any big issues. Re: How often do you meet up with your SS? 7Apr 09, 2010 1:24 pm I went on my site and took pics of the framework and had issues with certain things. l emailed it to the SS and he said that l was not meant to be on the property. That l need to be on the property with a supervisor. So l email my supervisor to make an appointment with him and he emails back. Werent you just onsite? What seems to be the problem? Re: How often do you meet up with your SS? 9Apr 09, 2010 4:02 pm We have seen our SS on site about 3 times. We call him if there is an issue. Frankly, he's such a lovely person that meeting up with him once was probably more than I'd ever have actually liked to... 9 24793 In Victoria you cannot put a caveat on arising from a domestic building contract. 65 112376 Thanks mate.
