Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Apr 08, 2010 1:39 pm Hi, We got a mob to do a merbau wing/gate about 3 months ago, Point Cook. Anyway, after a recent rain a couple of days ago, we've noticed there are streaks of stain on the ground below the gate. Lucky we haven't done the paving yet, otherwise all the pavings would be stained. Has anyone experienced this prob, and if so, would that be the stain from the wood or from the merbau stain oil. Should I go over the fence/gate with a decking oil and would that fix the prob? Once its weathered for a while it will stop and thats when you put an oil on it to maintain it.
