Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Apr 06, 2010 2:45 pm Hi Guys, great forum My wife and I have just bought a block of land in the northern suburbs of Melbourne and want to build a home with the living areas upstairs to take in the views we will have. We are thinking of kitchen / living / dining / master bedroom plus decks upstairs, and rumpus/ laundry/ beds 2 & 3 downstairs. These homes are available in abundance if you head down to the display villages at Torquay or anywhere along the coast, but not many build in Melbourne. We have only been able to identify 2 builders so far in Melbourne that could build it for us but would like to speak with a few more before we commit. Can you suggest any? We know of the Metricon Vista but it is not what we want. All suggestions appreciated. Luke.
