Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Apr 03, 2010 7:24 pm Hi, I am so pleased to announce we have PCI next Thursday It has been a very long, stressful build process for us. We signed PPA's February 2008!!! We are building in Mandurah on the canals with a Perth 2 storey project builder. We were very fortunate enough to have bought our land off the plans about 8 years ago (pre boom).
Last week we were given permission to access the house as we were having a building inspector do his final report. I took the oppotunity to take a few, well quite a few pics Our kitchen still has to have the splashback installed, but pretty much everything that the builder has to do is complete. We will be arranging for paving, decking, painting, carpets, timber etc after handover. http://i662.photobucket.com/albums/uu350/davdenwa/P1070186.jpg http://i662.photobucket.com/albums/uu350/davdenwa/P1070199-1.jpg http://i662.photobucket.com/albums/uu350/davdenwa/P1070193.jpg Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ http://i662.photobucket.com/albums/uu350/davdenwa/P1070192.jpg Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Hooray ... on the homeward stretch - lots of pics 2Apr 03, 2010 7:26 pm Fabulous and congrats on a truly magnificent home. Is that a real wood garagedoor? It looks AMAZING. Love the colours and the views. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!! Thanks Buzz, our garage door is by Gryphon and is the teak look, powder coated. Not real timber, but the way they powder coat is really effective, seems to have a couple of colours through it. Also, for your info their plain windows are free (weren't for us though, we had to pay $400 for our "free" windows ... builders charge ... long story) Check out Gryphon's website if you are interested, they will also post you a free sample and give you names of places to look at in your area that have used their doors. Dollar May I ask what colour your bathroom cabinets are? Hi Dollar, not sure if you mean the ensuite or the kids bathroom. The ensuite (twin vanity one) is a corian whisper bench top (same as kitchen), and cupboards Laminex Expresso, flint finish. Kids bathroom, Laminex Stipple Seal squareform bench top with laminex Fossil, flint finish cupboards. Happy Easter everyone.
