V Re: Jessica SA NOT HAPPY!!!! 315Aug 22, 2010 6:34 pm jessie87 I called the supervisor on Friday to see if they can do bathrooms and that and do the tiles which go above the stone later.... but it was a straight out no So 2 months it is then.... Re: Jessica SA NOT HAPPY!!!! 316Aug 23, 2010 7:27 pm Well we got a phone call today from the stone place! They are coming on Saturday Not as early as we wanted but a few days before originally scheduled. I just hope for Mums sake I move in before my sis gets married! My Auntie really needs my room!!! Started getting quotes for decking, tomorrow getting a quote on the driveway. Looked at some grass!!! So much happening! Sunday was an absolute beautiful day. Next Saturday we are going to Norwood, Unley and Payneham to look at antique stores. We tried on Sunday but they are closed! We want a massive mirror to go on the wall in the lounge area. Re: Jessica SA NOT HAPPY!!!! 317Aug 23, 2010 7:46 pm Hi Jess, Peddlers antiques on Magil Road have usually have some gold large mirrors. Another place is Small and Whitfield - an auction place on Unley road. It is on the left just after you turn left off Greenhill Road. Happy hunting! Maybe a silly suggestion, but give eBay a go as well. Sometimes people sell antique-y kind of furniture etc on there. Re: Jessica SA NOT HAPPY!!!! 318Aug 23, 2010 8:10 pm thanks for that Brendan. Did you like the Sorrento? Re: Jessica SA getting organised! 319Aug 23, 2010 8:27 pm No problem. My weekends as a kid revolved 'antique shop hopping'. Mostly only on Sundays. Sorrento was really really nice. Our jaws hit the floor when we walked in. Need to think is it really worth the extra $120,000+ extra compared to the Ashborne. We also looked at the Franklin by Rossdale. We both quite liked the use of space to create seperate little rooms. I.e. a retreat for the kids, home theatre at the back (my room - haha) big dining lounge area, and still a front room for sitting or whatever. Have some more things to consider now. Re: Jessica SA getting organised! 320Aug 23, 2010 8:54 pm Hi Jess, Sounds like you're making really good use of your time. Hope you find the goodies you're looking for. Hugs to you Handover February 2011 Happy with our home Hi all, Our boundary perimeter fences need replacing (3 sides). From everyone's experience, what would you install? Timber lapped and capped OR colorbond? Thank you. 0 2860 Joe, it depends on your certifier but we are noticing the ones we deal with are really cracking down.
