Re: building at the hunt club-is this ok help!!!!!!! 134Jul 14, 2010 12:15 pm Hi Mohamed, If you are worried about the mortar on the inside of your garage that is pretty normal from what I have seen before. I suppose they will plaster the walls and you wont see it. If it isn't your garage, then where is the insulation wrap. As for the pipe sticking out I have no idea. Tiles and bricks are looking good. I believe they do this when a pipe comes out in the wrong place (ie: under a wall). Upon commencing my build I told my SS I absolutely did not want any such holes put in my slab and he explained that it was "the old fashioned way" for plumbers to move pipes as opposed to the new way where they simply extend the pipe above the slab. I don't know if that's true or not, I personally think it might just be laziness. Anyway the bottom line is I wouldn't be happy with it but there's not a whole lot they can do now because even if they fill the hole concrete doesn't bond well with other concrete once it's dry (I believe). In any event the hole will eventually be filled in with something (hopefully) and by the look of it that's an outlet pipe so the hole will be under a bathroom counter or something anyway. Hope that helps! Re: building at the hunt club-is this ok help!!!!!!! 136Jul 14, 2010 7:13 pm Hello everyone Thanks for the amazing and very helpful information.
