Interior design suggestions most welcom 43Jan 11, 2011 9:57 am I like 'Bronze Fig' which you will find will go well with any shiny surfaces such as chrome ornaments or handles on low line entertainment units which are all the fashion. You will find that the colour changes depending on ambient light from other rooms and coloured surfaces, the type of light bulbs and so forth. get a large piece of cardboard as big (as you can get) and paint it with a sample pot of paint and hold it up to get a good idea of what it will look like. Good luck Re: Home sweet Home. Interior design suggestions most welcom 44Jan 11, 2011 10:19 am Thanks for all your suggestions.. Will look at it properly soon. Interior design suggestions most welcom 51Jan 14, 2011 1:27 pm ![]() I think you're doing the wrong wall... Have you had a go at adding colour to the wall behind the tv? I just think that wall would be better... I have thought about doing a feature wall behind the tv. I've heard suggestions that if you do a feature wall behind a tv you should use darker colours. However I thought that doing the feature wall behind the couch with some artwork would be nice since it extends out and you can see it from the entry way. And since our entry hall is too narrow we can't do any feature walls there without it looking silly. What do other people think.. seeing a feature wall when watching tv or when entering the house? I think both walls would look good... how about I just paint all walls in the house Deep Reed? ![]() ![]() Our new house - moved in but so much more to do! https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=31696&p=442009#p442009 Re: Home sweet Home. New bedroom pics 59Jan 30, 2012 3:08 pm I just had a quick look through your thread and also love what you've done - the way the feature tiles have been done in the bathrooms is so good - you can have a bit of what you fancy without going overboard and it looks great. Love your kitchen splashback tiles - the colours in your house are very warm and inviting. Did you do anything about the feature wall in the lounge room or was it all too hard?
