It's deceiving on the quote's and tender it's when you get to signing the contract it will rear it's ugly head. Its under the special conditions, "no allowance has been made for pump for piers" point, we signed it without even realising. It's a case of Concrete Pump for Slab Versus Concrete Pump for Piers. Upon receiving the bill for payment we had 14 days to pay it. Good luck to anybody that doesn't have to pay this. On a happier note we had our soil removed today for $220. What I thought was 25 Tonne of soil was in fact closer to 60. It took six truck loads and thank fully we had a happy recipient for the soil (so no ridiculous tipping fees). Safe to say moving the soil was dirt cheap for everybody. Definitely a good idea to have somebody lined up to move and/or take your soil after excavation and service connections. Merry Christmas. Re: Site Costs with Allworth 95Dec 23, 2010 9:59 am We will be signing contract in Jan. So do you think if I ask allworth to fix the pump for piers, whether they would do this at the same price? It seems there is no way out of such things, is there? ------------------------------------------------------- http://homeinkalina.blogspot.com Enjoying our new Concerto with Allworth Homes in Kalina, The Ponds Handover - 28/06/2011 Re: Site Costs with Allworth 96Dec 23, 2010 2:43 pm don't think so mate... __________________________ Building the Concerto with Allorth Homes @ The Ponds Our blog Noddy @ The Ponds http://noddytheponds.blogspot.com PM me re Landscape Plans Re: Site Costs with Allworth 97Jan 11, 2011 12:40 am Hi, I'm looking at building the Meridien with Allworth. Can anyone please advise if their building tender includes flooring? The salesperson has advised me that they don't do flooring so it was excluded from the tender but I think this is highly unlikely that a construction company would not do flooring. Any information on this would be very much appreciated. Thanks. Re: Site Costs with Allworth 98Jan 11, 2011 8:03 am meridienplus Hi, I'm looking at building the Meridien with Allworth. My tender dosnt include flooring, I asked for a price but they said they dont do it either. hope this helps Re: Site Costs with Allworth 99Jan 11, 2011 4:13 pm Can we clarify flooring. We have Carpet & Tile included. We did ask for a quote for Timber flooring and/or vinyl laminate in one room but no go, they don't do either. I'm guessing they restrict themselves to Carpet & Ceramic Tile flooring does that sound right and/or does that help ? Any other flooring would have to be done post hand over by owner ? Re: Site Costs with Allworth 100Jan 11, 2011 5:10 pm We built the concerto and carpets and tiles were included as an advertised package, we decided to get a credit for it as it was only very basic carpet and tiles __________________________ Building the Concerto with Allorth Homes @ The Ponds Our blog Noddy @ The Ponds http://noddytheponds.blogspot.com PM me re Landscape Plans Is anyone building with Mojo and have a recent site cost tender 0 16161 Henley should give you some indication of site costs.
