Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Mar 27, 2010 7:50 pm We currently have plans in council with a builder. We are getting SERIOUSLY cold feet due to a couple of issues on reading their contract and tender. If the plans get approved and we go to another builder, are there any negative ramifications? You will need to buy it off them if you want to continue using it, otherwise you will need to draw up new (different) plans and resubmit to council - I suppose if you are awaiting council, you still have not signed the contract, maybe if you are getting cold feet, there's no better time than the present to raise the concerns and hopefully negotiate something in between - In terms of the council, I don't think they care who your builder is, so no hard feelings there My 2c Cheers jim Hi Minho I have heaps of experience in Ku-ring-gai with both DAs and CDC ( this is the main area we build in).
