Every other display villiage in Sydney is sick of seeing me. The prices sound pretty reasonable, so they'll probably go pretty quickly. Judie Re: Land Release 10am at Oran Park tomorrow 27th March NSW 4Mar 27, 2010 3:16 pm Went there today and everywhere is packed out car parking in a paddock. Land is super cheap for really good sizes. About 10 out of 40 display homes not built yet. Re: Land Release 10am at Oran Park tomorrow 27th March NSW 6Mar 28, 2010 8:25 am we went out late yesterday for the "Grand Opening" to have a look (like Andy every display home in sydney is sick of me as well). Well Sydney is about 12000 new lots behind where it needs to be accordig to the experts, hence why the crazys are camping out. The masterplan looks well designed, and the land will continually be released over the coming years. Didn't make it into the display's today, as the kids got into the free carnival rides, free games, free pony rides, free clowns/fairies on stilts, free face painting, free live performance by Jay ? (Dude from Playschool) and some dude from Packed to the Rafters. Oh and I liked the free sausage sizzle, free kebabs, free coffee, free softdrinks and water....the only thing that WASN'T FREE was the land! Amazing event, have not seen that size event to launch land in Sydney before. Now I need to go back and check out the display homes. Quite impress with Landcomm plan in the area. We spent most of our time looking at the display homes. A bit disappointed with Clarendon and AV Jennings homes. The fixtures on the Clarendon homes are a bit poor. We liked the Wisdom and Fowler homes. Wisdom's Manhattan is very elegant. All 4 rooms have a toilet and shower! The Wisdoms really had the WOW factor especially the HT room with the starlight ceiling. I actually thought the Mastertons were better than expected too. The garage floor in the AV Jenning was nice. Clarendon was very Blah, though it was good to see some newer designs on display. We only made it up that first street so we will have to go back to finish off in a few weeks.
