Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Cost of brick wall/fence ? 2Mar 25, 2010 8:58 pm I'm looking to do this as well on my corner block. cost will depend on how long the wall is and how many bricsk you need. You looking and brick pillar with infill, pillar and low wall with infill, full face brick, any render??? These help determine the type and therefore cost of brick per pallet. The brick I'm looking at is 300 brick per pallet @ $240ish a pallet and need approx 13 pallets (like I said cornor block abour 30m of fence + smaller 5/6 course wall round front of house) This cost does not include laying, morter, cement for footings etc. I'm still working on full costing (not sure if go pillars with 5/6 course wall and colourbond infill or full brick with render instead of colourbond) Decide what you want and visit you rlocal brick display for latest costing. If anyone else has any ideas on cost it would be appreciated. Also any opinions on full brick and render or colourbond?? You may also need council approval. I think it works out to about $200/m installed - but I believe that's cheaper than brick (unless you know a brickie or can DIY) After 4 years - we're in! Thank you alexp79 and gommeqld for your advice, that's very helpful, thanks 3 7898 4 11184 2 7482 |
