Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Mar 21, 2010 7:04 am I have a block of land at Laurimer, Doreen Vic and I am wanting to build my home myself and wondered if someone can recommend a drafting service that can do the floor plans, site plan, sections, elevations, slab plan, bracing plans, specs, electrical plan working drawings etc etc together with organising all the other necessary stuff required to go to council and the Estate covenants division at a reasonable price??? I have been searching the internet and there are numerous services but would prefer to go on recommendation. I already have a house design sketched out, know all the energy rating requirements and covenant requirements for the estate so just need someone to put those ideas to paper. Received a couple of quotes from some architects - one is $12,000 and the other $9,000 and they don't include engineering plans.
