Has anyone had colour selections with PD and picked a stainless steel look alike kickplate in the kictchen. I have my colours soon and was wondering what I should look out for. I was looking at the Formica Pewter but by my reading this is expensive. Do PD include kickplates or is it an upgrade and what are my options for this Any advice would be great Re: Stainless Steel kickplates in PD colour selections 2Aug 31, 2007 9:14 am Hi Steve - we saw these when we visited Hopetoun last weekend.
I can't comment on the cost (until after Spet 6th), however the standard for PD is that the kickplates are the same colour as the cupboards. I don't believe that choosing a different colour for the kickplate would cost much - as far as I knew, all the laminates are considered "standard". If you want to use real metal, that would be a whole different story. Re: Stainless Steel kickplates in PD colour selections 3Aug 31, 2007 9:27 am Perry Thanks for that
I was looking at deco metal from Formica with the following three I am choosing from Brushed Pewter Brushed Aluminuim Matt Alumuinuim These look like Stainless and Laminex indicated they are not as expensive as the Laminex products. Not sure what PD will charge for this or if I have any other options that look good Any advice would be great Re: Stainless Steel kickplates in PD colour selections 4Aug 31, 2007 10:06 am Go the BRUSHED……anything! It’s a better wearing surface.
Hate to tell you though, Formica is now owned by Laminex……I don’t think there will be that much difference in the pricing??!
