Hi All,
I'm looking for some guidance here
Unfortunately, my build has been plagued with brickwork issues which i have been complaining to the builder to no end. Thankfully, the builder has tried to address most of my concerns but there are still some items outstanding. I thought the phone calls and emails weren't going anywhere so i set up a meeting with the supervisor yesterday to run through the issues. He was quite understanding and promised to fix all the issues which was quite relieving.
My concern however is that the builder will be soon requesting payment for the internal linings (they are delivering the gyprock as i type) but the brickwork is still not addressed, the roof over the garage is not complete(85% done) and the balcony pergola isn't done. Should i action the progress payment or be adamant that the external items be fixed before commencement of the internal linings ?
thanks all
