I'll most likely order them all today. Just another thing for people getting their own lights. I need to get about 25 of these lights: http://www.onlinelighting.com.au/produc ... ts_id=6286 They come with a normal bulb, but we need energy efficient, so a 9W LED on that site costs $44.00 each! I looked on Ebay and found the exact same bulb for around $10.00 each! I've never used eBay, but on recommendation from a bloke at work we took a look and wow, we can save a ton of money. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/2x-9-W-LED-240V- ... hting_Fans Re: Re: Nathan & Lisa's Reno - Kitchen Benchtops! 87Aug 27, 2010 4:38 pm Oh my Im still drooling over the kitchen and cant even think about helping you choose lights absolutely gorgeous what a stunning kitchen I LOVE IT hats off to you ! ************* First time renovator VIC Re: Re: Nathan & Lisa's Reno - Custom Drain Covers 88Sep 02, 2010 4:27 pm I've decided upon making up some custom drain covers. Around the pool area there are two storm water drainage pits that were formed into the concrete when it was made and as such they are not a generic size. So I looked up "custom drain covers" on google and out shone something that I liked. So I drew up something similar in AutoCad and have sent it off to our laser cutters. They replied with a cost. I sent an order. Here is the profile that I sent them (they got the .dwg file so they can feed it straight into the machine) **http://users.tpg.com.au/nklobouc//DRAIN_COVERS_R3Model.jpg <=== to large to post here. There will be two of them, they are both slightly different in size. They will be made from 304 grade S/S and will be polished when done. They should look like this when done (apart from the tile in the middle, I wanted just a flat mirror finish) All up cost is approx $200.00 each. The one on the right!! I'll give you an update on the drain covers in the next day or so, but I am blown away with how the polishers came through, mirror finish on the stainless. I've got some snaps, now since these were taken a bit of stuff has changed. We have taps, shower bits and also the slab under the house has been laid. Everything is looking great. The feature tiles you have are the same I have picked for the shower niche in our ensuite. Very nice to see it in a large area. There is just so much to comment on so I will just say I love it all. Like the little ones photo at the doorway. So cute. A balanced diet is chocolate in both hands.
