Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Booque's Build 2010 21Jun 01, 2010 7:38 pm Booque I am almost at pci inspection stage (pci due 9/06/10 but appear to be ahead of schedule) with commodore and found whilst its nice to get opinions from here, you should ask your administrator, email the photo if you want, if it is worrying you enough to post about it definetly ask the question. Things can be fixed now, leave it too long and you wont know if its supposed to be fixed or if it has been. I've found if you let them know you are keeping an eye things there are fewer errors, they can also explain things to you, if the administrator doesnt know they ask the supervisor and you usually get a quick response. Hope my opinion helps you out Bob Building "DOMAYNE" through COMMODORE HOMES in Pearsall WA Slab down 15-01-2010 Handover 16-06-2010 viewtopic.php?f=31&t=29049 Re: Booque's Build 2010 22Jun 01, 2010 8:55 pm There were three of these throughout the house. One in the master and the others in bedrooms 3 and 4. I sent an email with the photo to the CCA and she would send it to the site supervisor. I heard nothing from them. About a week ago the ceilings were put in. I thought "great, they will never do anything about them". Of course, I couldn't see if they had been fixed or not. I then organised an independent inspection, and the guy went up into the roof and luckily he said there was nothing wrong. I took his word for it. However, when it comes to PCI, I would like to get up there myself to have a look. Lock up is happening any day now. I am trying to keep an eye on things and taking photos at every oppportunity. Anything that I feel is amiss, I email the CCA (not too happy with her at the moment). Thank you for all your helpful feedback and I will certainly keep the good people at H1 up to date. Also, we did our brick and roof inspection recently and there was a different colour brick used for the window sills which we never asked for. Although I do not mind that it is different, it was never stated in our contract. (I am not going to tell the builder that I don't mind the colour) Are we able to get some money back? I would like some feedback before I email the builder.
