Thanks for that my little blue fish with "the power" No Cooper we have not even looked at carpet yet, hubby says we have to do the garden and paint before we get carpet, so he had better get a wiggle on, cos im not waiting 17yrs for it, I will be dead by then We do have a painter coming on saturuday to paint the pantry door that had to be fixed, soooo i might ask him how much he charges to paint 1/2 a house (after we see how well he does the door) Hubby doesnt know that yet, but I want carpet by winter My building thread viewtopic.php?f=1&t=25279 NEARLY DONE. Loving that outdoor setting too! Thanks PB , the lawn has actually amazed me as to how well it's taken, roots had attached within 10 days All that hard work paid off!!! Outdoor setting from segals after xmas sale, was a couple of $100 more the week before, got up early boxing day to ensure we got what we wanted!! zircon Looks gorgeous, styled like a display home! Thanks zircon , you'll have your keys in no time now!! duke I would have thought paint and carpet in that order before garden cause those are the areas you need to live in and not have to move things around again to lay carpet or afraid paint spill onto carpet. Garden can wait I say.. With the climate now a days... They either die from heat or drown. Not sure if there's a wrong or right order but we wanted lawn out back for our dog & also so we wouldn't have sand through the house (on carpets, furniture etc.) when we opened doors/windows. As it is i don't open front windows as sand/dust just blows straight in as no landscaping done out there as yet. But yep paint before carpet agabob I want the same at the yard but I think I will go with fake lawn as my "green fingers" can kill the cactus. Alfresco looks so great at night. And great color of the towels in your ensuite. I both similar just more falling into rusty red. Towels make such a difference. Thanks agabob , Fake wasn't an option for the back yard with the dog, it gets too hot & not keen on washing it down constantly after him!!! Towels certainly make a huge difference to the bathrooms, love the colours out ATM. Seen some really nice teal coloured ones i might have to get as well!!! Alfresco is lovely at night, we had down lights installed after HO with dimmer, bright when eating...soft when relaxing with a glass of wine!!!! Re: Cooper's Build - Perth NOR - Moved in! :) 892Jan 19, 2011 11:45 pm Hi duke, wall colour is parchment (solver) throughout entire house. The other colour we were tossing up with was vitesse but that blended too much with the splashback tiles when i painted samples on walls Doors & frames are in designer white. I must have dragged him around 6???? no, more like 8 rug shops or shops with rugs while we were on xmas break & again on his R&R. Was quite funny coz he wanted to look at alfresco kitchens & what was near those places????? Yep... RUG SHOPS Baahhaahaha Fair trade off in my books!! In the end i found our perfect rug!! Will get around to taking a pic later this week when i've got a spare 5. Lawn is getting used to only 2 days watering, it looks a little sad by the end of the day but then in the morning it's green & great again. We put surrounds around the pop up sprinklers so had to remove a small amount of lawn & we were amazed at how deep the roots are already, even retic guy was impressed when he came to do his "post lawn install sprinkler check" early this week. How's your SW lawn going?? How's your SW lawn going?? Gee you give me a giggle Cooper, I think that was a very good trade off, the bbq and rug bit As for our lawn, yep gong good, Hubby going to give it its first mow this weekend and we have cut out the midday watering. This weekend we will cut out abit more, maybe drop to 3 days twice a day and hopefully it will start getting used to less water and then down to 2 twice a day and then 2 times a week once a day.
