I have a question, can anybody in the forum confirm whether Telstra has laid cables in the estate? I couldn't get answer to this one from Benlor.
Logan, we haven't got our soil test report yet.

Anyone know if 30/30 estate has feature park or playground within? Hi VSRT, how much your builder estimate for site cost? I'm worried about broadband connection too. Re: 30 Thirty Estate 104Jan 10, 2011 5:58 pm Hi Mq, Happy New Year to you too. We settled our land in early December. Waiting now for building permit and bank approval for H&L loan. Taking a bit longer than expected due to the Xmas break. I am hoping that things will speed up this week but still waiting........ Regards Logan Re: 30 Thirty Estate 106Feb 28, 2011 8:39 pm Hey Logan How are you going? Have you started building yet. We are in Stage 7 and Benlor is still saying we will title in a couple of weeks although we went down there on the weekend and not much has happened since the rain. We can see that the bit before our block is all ready and titled which I think is stage 6. We are building on Elgant and Regal and they have even planted some cute little trees. We have been going out for dinner at the Brooks on a Friday night to get used to our new town - we don't live far anyway. We are all ready to start building and contracts and bank is sorted - now we just wait for the title. Re: 30 Thirty Estate 107Mar 01, 2011 7:17 pm ThirtyThirtyPC Hey Logan How are you going? Yes our build started on the 1 Feb and we are currently up to frames. The rain did cause some problems and it just does not seem to want to stop as these daily showers do not help. They seem to be moving fast now to get the rest of the plots titled. Yes the trees do look really nice and they have turned the soil on the verges as well. Hopefully Stage 7 will title soon for you and your journey will begin too. I can just imagine how excited you guys must be. Seeing our build progress is really great. We are now able to walk in our rooms so we just imagine what the finished product would be. I suppose all in good time. All the best for your build. Take care Logan Re: 30 Thirty Estate 108Mar 22, 2011 9:52 am hi all, the development progress of 30 30 seems to be quite fast... are there any delays? I notice there are quite a number of houses currently being constructed... I am building in featherbrook and it seems there are still some delays.. I have been following the forums and seems like featherbrook always gets delayed... What stage is 30 30 currently in? ____________________________ http://pointcookfb.blogspot.com/ ___________________ Building with Carlisle Homes, Montrose 36 in Point Cook http://www.pointcookfb.blogspot.com/ Re: 30 Thirty Estate 109Mar 22, 2011 5:56 pm Hi there, Welcome to the forum. Not sure what stage exactly they are up however I think it has been titled up to Stage 7. For the stages that have been titled, there has been quite a bit of progress in building. It's always good when everyone makes a start together. Hopefully your land will title soon. Regards Logan Re: 30 Thirty Estate 110Mar 24, 2011 10:04 am Thanks Logan, Yup, its nice when you can see more people building together, and get to know your neighbour soon. Yup, finger crossed on the title. Will be visiting the development site quite frequently, and will post up more progress on my blog soon. ____________________________ http://pointcookfb.blogspot.com/ ___________________ Building with Carlisle Homes, Montrose 36 in Point Cook http://www.pointcookfb.blogspot.com/ Re: 30 Thirty Estate 111Apr 27, 2011 4:47 pm Hey There How are you all going? Very pleased to say that Stage 7 titled last week and we now have a building start date for Thursday. Amazing progress and very impressed with our builder who is on the ball - Simonds. We are so excited and just can't wait to see it all start to happen. Are there any other neighbours out there? I can't believe the progress week by week - the houses are starting to go up quite quickly. My son will be going to the P-9 Point Cook College next year and I am very impressed with them and their programs. Would like to hear from you. Lisa Re: 30 Thirty Estate 112May 25, 2011 3:48 pm Hi ThirtyThirtyPC Good to hear your building is progressing well. Which house do you choose with simonds? do you have blog? As for me, we haven't started yet, initially with PD but they looks expensive, now looking at other builders like carslies and mimosa Re: 30 Thirty Estate 113Jun 24, 2011 9:15 pm ThirtyThirtyPC My son will be going to the P-9 Point Cook College next year and I am very impressed with them and their programs. Would like to hear from you. Lisa Hi Lisa, Would highly appreciate if you could share what you know about their programs? I was going to purchase in another estate but have just decided to cancel that because of the zoning of P-9 Point Cook College. It seems this school will do good in the coming years but i'd love to know more if you could share something. Thanks Raj Re: 30 Thirty Estate 115Jul 11, 2011 9:03 am Hi Everyone I hope you are all doing well. We are about 6 weeks off finish - very exciting and moving fast. We have had a very positive journey so far with Simonds so definately happy with everything - we have a fantastic building supervisor and customer service officer which makes the whole thing very easy. Hi Raj, my son will be starting year 7 next year and I am quite concerned as he gets allot of support in his current primary school and we do allot of work with him at home. He kind of skates along and then sometimes drops behind so my concern with high school was how much individual attention will he get or will he just be a small fish in a big sea. The Year 7 coordinator has assured me that they have very individualised learning programs. It was an easy decision because of the zones but the other school nearby which is Carrunballuc or something like that doesn't have very good homework programs in the younger years which is a worry to me because it could be a shock to their system as they get older. I was a little disapointed that there arne't wood work classes in the P-9 but they have excellent IT classes. I'm still waiting for our official acceptance letter in August but when i spoke to the education department they said he would definately go to that school. Good luck Re: 30 Thirty Estate 116Sep 18, 2011 9:17 am Hi all Looked around the estate yesterday, it's quiet and is not look appealing compare to other estates around. Many houses are for rent or still empty, I just found out from one builder, she told me there is no time limit to build. Have you guys moved in to the area? What do you feel? Thanks Re: 30 Thirty Estate 117Oct 19, 2011 3:51 pm letitbe Hi all Looked around the estate yesterday, it's quiet and is not look appealing compare to other estates around. Thanks It is quiet and infrastructure is not too bad. But never never expect any capital growth from this area. The vast major houses for rent or from sale. I'm not able to undestand stupudity of people that trying to make profit from this area. Re: 30 Thirty Estate 119Jan 12, 2012 10:34 am Lucky Stage 10 - http://www.nbnco.com.au/assets/document ... uction.pdf Anyone know if NBN will be rolled out to the rest of the estate?? I heard there is no Telstra land line in this estate. Re: 30 Thirty Estate 120Feb 16, 2012 12:24 pm Hey.. building on what's been described as "stage Ma" or "Ma estate"... It's kind of in 30-30 near the oval, but I can't find out if it is really in 30-30 or not... Anyone else building there? Should there be a different thread? and yeah, also trying to figure out if became part of NBN rollout too... NOTE: Found out that is it is also called "stage 11 of Thirty-30" and also "Point Cook Estate stage 1", there's only one street (Michael Place) as well a few lots along Whisper. Anyone else building here? Good news is that is also will receive NBN, confirmed with NBNco |
