I have been felling a bit cheesed of with PD lately because there are a number of small issues dating back to handover that have still not been addressed. The building supervisor has promised to deal with things but I feel that he has lost interest because the house is finished. Tradesman have promised to turn up and then never been heard from again (the heating guy was meant to return and put in the duct forgotten in the bathroom, the ducted vacuuming man was meant to return to put in the forgotten dustpan in the kitchen). After a really extensive email from my husband, some of these things have slowly started to be rectified.
Since we moved into the house quite a few weeks after handover, the 3 month check has arrived quite quickly. It is only supposed to address new issues, not those hanging over from handover.
I wasn't here for the inspection this morning but my husband said that the maintenance supervisor was excellent. He spent about 2 hours going over the house and was really thorough. He noticed lots of things that we hadn't and had lots of good advice. There is an extensive list of follow up items (mostly minor things) and dates have already been set for them to be fixed.
So my faith in PD has been restored. Of course I'll be a lot happier when everything has been fixed!!

Apparently they do a 12 month check too.
