He said that he was told the carpenter would be back in the next few days to take us to lockup and begin working on internal doors, skirtings, etc. In our case, the carpenter will also have to remove a wall that will then need to be re-plastered and re-flushed! Or at least that's what I'm hoping will be the solution. I'm absolutely certain that it couldn't possibly meet with standards in its current state of wonkiness! FTR, I have heard that a general rule of thumb is approx 10 weeks from lockup, although I've also heard to expect massive delays after lockup with our builder.
