Browse Forums Building A New House Re: any info on rural building company 2Feb 23, 2010 10:16 pm You could try messaging Pebble as she built with them. Depending on where abouts in WA you are often it's actually the WA country builders tradies/S.S. who do the build. That's "Pebble" not "Pebbles". ( Also "Jay" who is the G.M of Rural occasionally posts on here, Yes I mean Jay W) We built with WA Country Builders and had a terrific S.S. and most of the tradies on our build were brilliant as well. I briefly met a neighbour close to our new block who had built with rural build and unfortunately she did not have a kind word to say about them. Sorry, this is only one persons opinion. I am sure there must be many satisfied customers out there for them to stay in business. Cheers. Re: any info on rural building company 4Feb 24, 2010 10:56 am I have heard mostly good things about them But as with any builder, you will hear good and bad about them. Best of luck! viewtopic.php?f=31&t=22766 - my build thread! Time waits for no man. Unless that man is Chuck Norris. Re: any info on rural building company 5Feb 24, 2010 11:51 am Hi msbyrne, i think i may have responded to another post of yours last night but missed this one. my name is Jay, GM for The Rural Building Company. i hope that by posting up here i don't affect people's responses in any way as i'd rather you get honest feedback on what we are like as a builder rather than a distorted one. pending where you are building will determine who builds the home. to explain the relationship, in the Perth Metro and Outer Metro area, The Rural Building Company build and have our own range of designs. we build from Moora down to Lake Clifton/Waroona and out to Wundowie in the East. Everywhere else WA Country Builders (sister company and part of the same group) build our designs. we also have the ability to build their range of homes in the areas we build. the relationship is a funny one and often confusing to people looking from the outside but this is how it has evolved over the year. we have a strong partnership with them and they are extremely familiar with our designs. in terms of our reputation - i wish i could say it is absolutely fantastic but i'd be ******. I can't stress more that there are plenty of people who have had a terrific experience building with us but over the 11 years we have been in existence, there has been the odd home we have grappled with. as said above - you'll be hard pressed to find a builder that doesn't share this story. what i think makes the difference is what the builder does once a problem has been recognised. i have been at the helm of 'RBC' for just under two years and can safely say I will always do everything in my power to ensure we keep the client happy and avoid problems on site. due to the nature of the architectural style homes we build, there is a higher chance of things going wrong compared to your more straight forward designs but we do have a very experienced, specialised team that i feel confident will do the job right. i am not sure if you are speaking to any of our consultants at the moment, but i am more than happy to make myself available to you if you have any questions or queries. if you would like to have a look at some of our construction sites to get a feel for our quality, standards and workmanship i am more than happy to take you round to a few. even then, if you'd like to speak with some of our current or previous clients i am more than happy to arrange this. cheers Jay Hi Renee, Boundaries in NSW are generally shown on Deposited Plans.
