Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Feb 20, 2010 3:17 pm We are soooo close to signing the dotted line, but still have some minor reservations due to the company being quite new. they are not a volume builder, which we are fine with, but do not have loads of houses under their belt. We have been inside one of their finished homes, which was beautiful, and seen a couple of others from the outside and their design for us is far and away the most original and innovative use of our difficult block... So, my question is, as long as we have home builders insurance, we are covered if the work is incomplete because they fold, or whatever? I understand that it would slow things up considerably, but at the end of the day, we would still be covered and get our house??? Any advice or help or encouragement would be great. I figure everyone had to start somewhere, and if noone gave young enthusiastic people a go it would be a sad and horrible world! Have rung dept of fair trading and they get the thumbs up, btw!
