Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Feb 17, 2010 10:19 am So we are building and until the other day I totally forgot soakwells :/ So a few ppl have told me that we can do them ourselves, we need one on every downpipe with some saying we dont we only have one on each side of the house? etc etc So my questions are did you pay for the builder to do them and if so how much and how many did you need? and if you did them yourself did you need them on every downpipe and did you save a lot? We have a lot of stuff to do when we get into the house and I really need to know whether its worth the saving Thanks Guys RHI - BALDIVIS PERTH 2005 Bought/Finished WA Housing Centre Home 2010 Building the Benchmark with REDINK Homes in The Avalon 2013 Building the Michigan with Cont3nt Living In Highbury Estate! It also depends on if you will be getting or already have storm water drains in your street. Check with your builder, or look in your contract if you have them included. You will need to get their approval before you go putting in anything. Built with New Generation (Summit Homes) We own land!... with a slab on it! Plus a shell of a house with stuff inside !
