Re: Home Time 61Apr 02, 2008 11:09 am Great looking house, wonderful outlook and a perfect sized block. But I wonder what your "anti-bug" strategy may be if those doors are opened at night (or even during the day) ? I had a place quite similar to this in Brisbane and was always battling flies during the day and mozzies at night. We will be putting in a couple of fans and we will look at using some natural planting and traps etc. We will see how this goes haven't had much of an issue with mozzies when we have been out there so far. Re: Home Time 63Apr 02, 2008 1:26 pm Re: Home Time 65Apr 02, 2008 3:32 pm The scary thing is that the hot pink, bright orange, red and purple don't look that bad! Very trendy... or maybe a better word would be "out-there".
Don't like the blue though - I've never been a big fan of black and blue together. ![]() Ray. I'm glad you think they don't look that bad, because one of the six is close to what we are actually having, as close as i can get it with photobucket anyway. Now if I were bold enough I'd go for the hot pink (my fav colour). Years ago I had a friend who built her new kitchen from a magazine photo and it included a hot pink roof ![]() ![]() Cant wait to see yours. Paula Re: Home Time 70Apr 04, 2008 3:08 pm We got some good new today, the kitchen splash back that was not going in till the wc 14.4.08 now seems to be going in monday the 7.4.08 YEAH YEAH YEAH. Well I hope it now happens!!! Cant wait to see it in. Re: Home Time 71Apr 04, 2008 3:35 pm Love it!!! Love those doors - I wish we had them. Spose I could get our sliding door ripped out and those put there instead!
Love the colours, we have espresso (plain espresso) in our laundry and bathrooms, we had trouble deciding between the two of them, the plain one went better with our tile. I thought we had a great view - looking over paddocks with horses - but it's dry and dusty where we are so looks awful by comparison! Just had a look at your blog - I think everyone has missed the most important part - how cute are your dogs!!! I want them! Re: Home Time 72Apr 04, 2008 3:42 pm A few pics of our stacked stone wall. Stacked stone is something that will definately date quickly and is probably already out of "fashion". We just love the look & texture.

Trouble one and two dogs would love to spend some time at your house! Currently we live right near a fire station and they just love to howl the house down when they hear the siren, which seems to be 5 times a day and always at least once at 2 or 3 am in the morning. Needless to say our splashback will not be fire engine red we had to pick a different red to be safe! ![]() Re: Home Time 79Apr 05, 2008 4:52 pm your house and setting is sensational well done

My two crazy kelpies - (one is half border collie) live at my parents farm so safely away from sirens and noise. There is about 10 years between them and the older one is starting to get a little arthritic, so doesn't like the fact that the young one spends her whole day chasing him around and annoying him. When they aren't running around like lunatics, they bark at each othe for the fun of it. Can't wait to see the splashback! Hi, I have a Qld Master Builders contract for our renovation.
