Is Boral plasterboard any good?

I disagree on the above comment where just because it is a large company it has the best products.

I usually find smaller companies need to offer better products to compete otherwse they will be out of business.

Regarding plaster they are all very similar. I doubt you will even notice the difference once painted.
It depends on the plasterer which they prefer to use.

So you would not trust a large company?

That was the point of my post, that the quality of Boral products is in no way any lesser than that of CSR.


Also, I would be assume that that they have a greater control of quality over their product.
Some things like homemade pies are great from smaller places, but tried and true building products that have been used, tested and researched for a long time?
I'll stick with what I know.

Both CSR and Boral depending on demand and availability will manufacture board for each other--so no, there's not much difference, the machines are very similar, I prefer CSR, as their infrastructure and backup has always been superior
