Allworth Homes Suggestions

Hi everyone,

We are still trying to decide on a home for our block in Camden.

Down to two builders now.

Allworth is one of them. They seem to have so many floor plans i like, that are affordable, but they are mostly too narrow.

There are also so many of them i am confused.

Wondering if any one has built a home with them to fit a block around 19m wide, so about 15m wide home, with 4 beds, 2 bathrooms and THREE living areas?

If so can you let me know what the design is and how you find it?

I would simply ask them to recommend to you what plans will fit based on your requirements. You are lucky to have a wide block so you may want to fill that expanse, alternatively you may want to leave a side access for a car to fit through if you do not have a drive through garage. It may also give you the opportunity to have a pool if thats what you want.
We are going through Allworth and wanted 4 beds, study, lounge orientated to the front and main bed somewhere not street facing, a double garage (as compared to all the singles in Spring Farm), ensuite to bed 1 and separate toilet from main bath, plus all the usuals. So in fact that's quite a lot to fit on 500sqm, and we maxed out at 224.5, 0.5sqm short of the max build. But they came good in the end by modifying the Concerto.
Building in Camden I know they have a lot of weird and wonderful requirements and since we are building with Allworth I am sure they should have it down pat now so they can advise you about solar access, setbacks, open living space, building envelope, etc.
But yeah, just ask. Our SC had little cutouts of the floor plans scaled down to 500:1 or whatever it is, so having drawn the block and the setbacks he knew what would fit, or otherwise what was close to.
