Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Aug 08, 2007 6:22 pm Is it better to get your builder to do your driveway or do it yourself?
Our builder has quoted $7K for our driveway (paved over concrete). It is about 13m long and is on a pretty big slope. 7k seems an awful lot to pay for a piece of concrete to drive up and down on. We only need coloured concrete and we can buy it at wholesale price so are we better off doing it ourselves or is the slope going to cause a problem? Can anyone recommend driveway people in Brisbane to get quotes from? It seems to be difficult to get tradespeople to return your calls..... Let me know if you find out a price, to see if it's any cheaper! Our Adenbrook home was completed in September.
