Browse Forums Building A New House Re: PD Hayman 34-Mia's Folly 'Breaking News!!!' 184Jul 21, 2010 9:47 pm Home One Daily Stop Press A couple of days ago a rumour appeared to be circulating throughout the National Geographic Society that the famed naturalist, biologist and explorer Sir Tony Atin-Brother, OBE, WTF and FIGJAM of the Royal Dispenser was reported missing, or worse still killed in action. Through the dilgent and persistent investigation of many HomeOners, they were able to locate Sir Tony. He was found cloistered within a small make-shift lean-to in a little disused area within the wild life reserve of A&E Panorama. When found he was in deep shock clutching an empty ration bottle and being guarded closely by a pack of vicious and very well trained 'Bok Bok's'. Also found in his possession was his camera and several note books filled with many undiscipheralbe drawings and notes. Currently he is being well cared for by professionals who believe he will make a speedy recovery. Reports out of Muckingham Palace today suggest when the Queen was informed of Sir Tonys condition she was reported to have said, 'We are not amused as to how our favorite naturalist could be left for dead for so long'. Stay tuned for further updates. First and foremost I'd very much like to take this opportunity in thanking those responsible for my rescue and subsequent rehabilitation. There are probably a few of you out there wondering what had become of me and if indeed I had met with foul play. To understand what happened to me one must first understand the intricate world of 'Builder Erectus', which can take years of research, study, investigative techniques and an innate ability to interpret the simplest of movements and gestures. In my search to understand 'Builder Erectus' I accidently stumbled across some information which almost certainly cost me my life. On my way back to base camp, I happened to stop by a watering hole seldom used by Erectus creatures. As I was about to sample the local nectar, 4 of the most vicious Superius Suxcoccidia I have ever seen crawled out from under their concealed hideaways. Unlike most of the creatures such as Dropanywhereus, Bobius or even Widower Plumus, they will collectively and instinctively make their way to local watering holes where they will socialise, butt heads against each other in a pure male ritualistic manner or just gather in great numbers for safety. However Superius is a solitary creature who will prefer to spend its time milling around uncompleted Erectus sites in the hope of catching some unsuspecting owner violating its territory. Rarely will they ever be seen meeting or discussing view points, let alone be found carousing together. There have been many rumours of unsubstantiated sightings of two or more Superious's meeting in secret but never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I would be witnessing it right before my very eyes. Each of them circled the small watering hole making sure no one else was there while at the same time watching each other for the slightest hint of treachery. From my concealed vantage point I observed each one puff out their chest to display their coloured and uniquely marked plumages. There was the Bu-Rankiest Superious, the Simious Syckiest Superious, the Mettrishockus Superious and lastly the Portobello Deceivious Superious. There was much posturing and bragging until they settled into amicable communication and just when they were about to discuss how they deliberately stall every project while cutting corners at every step, I lost my footing and was discovered. Within a heartbeat all four Superious's turned and looked in my direction, their bright evil eyes glinting in the fading sunlight. I could have remained where I was but instinct took control and I fled into the night whilst being hotly pursued by my attackers. After several near misses I finally managed to elude my captures but I had lost my way in the world of 'Buildus Erectus'. It took several weeks to find sanctuary but in my weakened state I was unable to cry out for assistance. Eventually I was found and the rest is history, but rest assured I'm back and I'll continue my exploratory exposé of 'Buildus Erectus' This is Sir Tony Atin-Bother signing off and bidding you a safe and prosperous build.
