Pics on blog... 3Feb 08, 2010 2:17 pm Hey BecH Yes we are building in Boyne Island so hello neighbour I see from your blog you're building in Lighthouse estate. We are over near the golf course up on the hill. The plasterboard has just gone up inside but the rain has kept the brickies from finishing the outside. What a wet summer! Our builders have been great though & there always seems to be something going on at the house. Its our first home & we plan to be there for a while so I've really gone for what appealed to me rather than 'what's in'. But its nice to know my selections appeal to others as well so thank you for your kind comments! I've checked out your blog. Your dream house is enormous & I love the layout (go the galley kitchen). Who are you building with? My husband and I love the resort Balinese style so we'll be checking out your blog regularly. Join our journey at http://sigavou.blogspot.com/ Re: New build in Central QLD. Hope it clears for you soon and your block layers can get cracking. We're building with Chris Bell. ____________________________ Bec ____________________________ Building our Balinese Resort Inspired Dream Home Blog ~ http://hagarshouse.blogspot.com/ Ch..ch..ch..changes (sing-a-long) 5Feb 20, 2010 9:55 pm Just updating my selections list: Carpet - Sierra Vista Putty (light caramel colour) Bathroom cabinets - Laminex Pumice Silk Finish (Gloss laminate) Kitchen cabinets - Laminex Polar White Silk Finish (Gloss laminate) Yesterday made a literally last minute change of laminate on my cabinets. Got the impression they are looking to install them within the next couple of weeks so will post pics on my blog as soon as they are in. Am revising my description of 'sunny' QLD as we are getting drowned up here. Would love it if I had grass but all I have is mud pools Bricklayers still can't brick the outside of our house so at this rate its even money that the cabinet makers will be in before the bricks are done!! Is anyone else experiencing a weird build progress because of the weather?
