I really like the changes you've made, especially to the WIR! viewtopic.php?f=31&t=22766 - my build thread! Time waits for no man. Unless that man is Chuck Norris. Re: WREXTER's BUILD - New Generation home in Aubin Grove 23Mar 02, 2010 5:59 pm wrexter thinking about incorporating an entertainment recess in the living area like this: What do you guys think? We've just drawn the same thing into our plans. Can you tell me how long and how deep you plan to have your inset. Re: WREXTER's BUILD - New Generation home in Aubin Grove 24Mar 02, 2010 6:46 pm Thanks Jodie. I think the cost will be only about $500-$1000. worth it i think, as it only cost us $1000 to extend the theatre under the eaves for more WIR! That picture is from the Soto design by impression homes. i think it will be reccsessed about 480mm (1 1/2 bricks) and will be about 2000mm wide. i think. and the top part is bulkhead. Re: WREXTER's BUILD - New Generation home in Aubin Grove 25Mar 02, 2010 6:53 pm We put a recess like that in our family area. It's about 2000mm by 500mm with a square bulkhead and only cost $285. I think it adds to the room. Re: WREXTER's BUILD - New Generation home in Aubin Grove 26Mar 02, 2010 6:54 pm zircon We put a recess like that in our family area. Re: WREXTER's BUILD - New Generation home in Aubin Grove 27Mar 02, 2010 9:17 pm You haven't signed yet have you? Just wondering coz that would be classed as a structural change i'm presuming. You probably already know all this anyway. Built with New Generation (Summit Homes) We own land!... with a slab on it! Plus a shell of a house with stuff inside ! Re: WREXTER's BUILD - New Generation home in Aubin Grove 28Mar 02, 2010 9:25 pm Nope! havent signed yet. And will not sign until i am 100% happy with everything. 4 months away from titles for land, no need to rush. pretty close to being happy though. Re: WREXTER's BUILD - New Generation home in Aubin Grove 29Mar 03, 2010 12:30 pm Just a couple of quick question guys. I will be raising the living room/entry to 31c with a bulk head in the kitchen. Also upgrading Alfresco and garage to 28c. Should the windows in the living be upgraded to 28c high or is it normal to leave them at 25c. Also, Our house will be north facing, is the currect layout in the correct position, or should it be mirrored? cheers. Re: WREXTER's BUILD - New Generation home in Aubin Grove 30Mar 03, 2010 3:19 pm Well, the sun will be making the bedrooms (except yours) warm in the morning, the alfresco will get the sun in the afternoon (possibly shaded). Could be ok how it is. I could also be wrong Built with New Generation (Summit Homes) We own land!... with a slab on it! Plus a shell of a house with stuff inside ! The living room tv recess is nice... we added it in ours!... just make sure its wide enough! My thread has been deleted... Re: WREXTER's BUILD - New Generation home in Aubin Grove 33Mar 05, 2010 4:03 pm Hi again, Nick was our sales agent and we were told we could not have a bulkhead in the kitchen as they sag and Summit would have to fix it as it is a structual defect... Something along those lines... Oh well, no bulkhead for us lol. We also raised the ceilings to the living/dining/kitchen and our alfresco, we didn't mention anything about window positioning so not too sure what height they will be? Re: WREXTER's BUILD - New Generation home in Aubin Grove 34Mar 15, 2010 12:53 pm Hey Wrexter, I just read your post of Tooheys thread. Its it really 3 months?? Is this just for you and the missus or you got some kiddies filling up the other rooms. Re: WREXTER's BUILD - New Generation home in Aubin Grove 38Mar 16, 2010 1:36 pm Shon, The plans are going well, been waiting about 3 weeks for the updates plans (kitchen upgrade, entertainment recess etc) and final quote. should be getting them today, so will post them up as soon as i have them. Toohey, The house is just for me and the mrs at the moment, were only 23 so were a bit off kids, and were not married yet so i guess that would probably come first ;P The other rooms will be filled up dont worry. 1 will be a gym and the others i will think about Re: WREXTER's BUILD - New Generation home in Aubin Grove 40Mar 19, 2010 9:45 pm Hey, We are building in Aubin Grove Lot 401 descanso loop...
