Re: WREXTER's BUILD (WA) - PAINTING THIS WEEKEND! 878Oct 21, 2011 11:12 am Where do I start? I think with an apology! Back when you were writing on my house blog, you never had links in your signature! So I've not visited you once! VERY rude of me Then, Congratulations, of course! You're life has taken some huge steps in the last 12 months it seems! We're almost perfectly lined up! Only we sealed ourselves. I can honestly say that $600 spent sealing was the best money you've ever spent! It was a hard, and unrewarding job. We were very fortunate that our floors weren't down yet in most areas, so we could throw it around a bit. All the same, it was long, boring, and very depressing! We picked our keys up last week, so both you and I have the same list of things to do now! Putty, paint, carpet, timber, window finishings, skirtings, furniture, UGH! When will it stop?! One thing that has helped us though is music. We've brought a laptop down, and plugged in big speakers. The neighbours across the road already know we're terrible singers, but a bit (lot!) of noise certainly breaks the tedium of the task. Think of me while you paint this weekend, and we'll think of you! Best of luck! viewtopic.php?f=31&t=46664 Building in Baldivis, Western Australia. First home, with Impressions. Would love it if you were to stop by some time! Re: WREXTER's BUILD (WA) - PAINTING THIS WEEKEND! 879Oct 21, 2011 12:12 pm Love that theatre wrexter! I hate the surface prep on bare plaster, just when you think you're done, you'll find more...tedium! Thats why I plan to pay someone to do that! my new build thread- Ben Trager https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=89826 my switch build thread (2011) https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=36569 Re: WREXTER's BUILD (WA) - PAINTING THIS WEEKEND! 880Oct 21, 2011 3:26 pm That theatre will look awesome!! I am sure all the prep work will definitely be for the best in the long run. Much better getting it right first off. Good luck with the painting!! Joe Apologies for the delay in getting back to you. If you haven't sorted this already you need to caulk this gap. Not sure where you are but if you are in Sydney I can… 5 4400 7 3047 |
