Re: WREXTER's BUILD (WA) - Instaling Skirting! 932Dec 16, 2014 2:08 pm wrexter Pretty happy with the result. Was Quoted over $3000, got it done for $250. This is great for you, but it makes me feel a little dead on the inside! This looks good (if not better than mine) and I paid someone close to $2000 to install skirting throughout the house! How did you do it so cheaply??? I was looking into DIY and found that I would save about $500, so I thought I may as well get a professional to do it. Regret can't help me now! Thanks PanRaptor, dont regret it too much because it took alot of work and a times i wished i just paid for it to be done. Im very meticulous with these things (it took me 3 months to paint the house). From memory 100m of Lambs Tongue Skirting +5% waste: 39 x 92mm Lambs Tongue MDF @ $6.00 each = $234 Primer & Oil Paint - $40 (Solver) Gap Seal - $10 Putty & Sand Paper - $10 Ok maybe it was more like $300. Re: WREXTER's BUILD (WA) - Instaling Skirting! 935Dec 16, 2014 8:59 pm Love your kitchen . They usually do good trade pricing. Only dilemma is picking up 5.4m lengths - they are mighty awkward. Re: WREXTER's BUILD (WA) - Instaling Skirting! 939Jan 03, 2016 12:03 am Yes and Welshpool is a bit far from us too, i think it will be bunnings when the time comes. $12 for 5.4m isn't bad. What profile is that? Lambs tongue? _______________________ KEYYYSSS!! ~ 14/10/15 viewtopic.php?t=72518 Our Build: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=72518 Joe Apologies for the delay in getting back to you.
