Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Jas and Nat's excellent adventure - Aubin Grove, WA 61Sep 02, 2010 3:25 pm Hi Luke, Mate sorry for the late reply - been busy with painting, work and uni. I'm longing for a break! Celebration were fantastic to deal with. I guess our only concern was the 'attention to detail' of some of their tradies (plumbers?). This doesn't seem to reflect the attitude of the business though, as the supervisor made good and ensure everything was fixed as quickly as possible. Ironically - council approval took 6 months. The house went up in 4 We're doing alot of the finishing ourselves - painting is done, skirting boards are next, followed by flooring for which we've already organised the contractors. Then we're in! Jas. Our slab has gone down and we are wrapped with the service we have recieved so far. We signed up in April and due to us heavily customising our plan we have had a few delays in getting all the paperwork sorted. Council approval only took 6 weeks and the finished plans look amazing. I am sure if we did not customise so much we would be at plate height by now. Not the builders fault. Anyway it has been worth the wait and will definitely build with them again. I am sure we must have been the pre-start client from hell. We changed so much. 4 months build time is amazing. I was thinking we were at least 6 months off getting a house. Oh well see what happens. Your place is looking fantastic Re: Jas and Nat's excellent adventure - Aubin Grove, WA 64Sep 02, 2010 6:08 pm Thanks guys! Shon- we're on the corner of Camden and Adromeda, with the Woodland Grey (greenish?) coloured roof. We're halfway through getting the fence put up as we speak Luke.. do you know who your site supervisor is? Glen, by chance? Jason.
