Could I ask you what colour you've used for your kitchen cabinets? Sorry if you've already mentioned it and I missed it. Building the Foxley 29 with PD. Makes me want to start baking Hadn't noticed the doors on your wardrobes before, love them! Wish we had those now instead of ours Thanks. we were always intending to get sliding doors, and these were recommended at our tender. They're powder coated aluminium with a vinyl wrap. They actually work out a fair bit cheaper than the standard sliding doors and I think they look quite smart. Happy with the way the wardrobes worked out with the extra height and width. jenses Could I ask you what colour you've used for your kitchen cabinets? The colour is Nocturne Oak. We chose the same colour scheme as the Monterey display in Point Cook. As it was new they didn't have it on file so we just kind of guessed.. I think it came out a little different but still looks good Felistopher A castle fit for a little prince or princess Looks beautiful. Best wishes for the impending arrival. What are guys planning on putting on the floors? Flooring we organised carpet for the bedrooms and laminate through the rest of the house through ***. With the arrivalof a little one and a dog that loves to run around inside we didn't want timber flooring. We were going to do bamboo but decided to save some money and do the laminate. It wasn't that much and we can always rip it up and replace it ina few years. Now I'm off to the house to get a quote on a driveway. have 2 weeks off work so will let me organise quotes for everything we need after handover. Thankfully there are always Tim Tams Re: BUILDING MONTEREY Q2 WITH HENLEY***Bub Arrived*** 92Jun 09, 2010 10:34 pm Booked an appointment today for next Wednesday to go over the defects that needed to be rectified from our PCI. Funny as I was down at the house yesterday and someone was in the roof so I was able to wander around and our Building Inspectros report was ****** around and with a note to only fix the highlighted items. There were a few items not highlighted but when I asked if everything was done over the phone today I was assured that they were. Think I'll call my SS tomorrow and make sure they have been. Hopefully everything is done and after Wednesday we can proceed to handover by the end of the week. Re: BUILDING MONTEREY Q2 WITH HENLEY***Bub Arrived*** 97Jun 13, 2010 7:26 pm p34c3 Hi Moonoos21, congratz with your newborn baby!! and I love your house. I am building with henley too, I am just wondering how many days it took henley to respond to your independent building inspector report? did they agree to fix all the defects that found by indenpendent inspector within 14days? Thanks p34c3. When we had our PCI our independant inspector went through the house. There were about 6 defects that we picked up ourselves. We received our independent inspectors report the same day, which found an additional 13 defects. This was emailed to our admin the same day. As far as I know they've got 14 days to fix the defects. They say that they aren't required to fix the defects found by the inspector but he said the Henley have only ever knocked back one of his. I spoke with our handover dude to book in our post pci inspection and he said that all of the defects will be fixed. Just wondering if anyone has dealt with Bankwest here. I spoke with them and asked what I need to supply for the handover invoice and they said I just need to send the invoice, the authorisation and proof of insurance. They said that handover payments are at 24 hours at the moment. They didn't mention anything about their own valuation where as alot of other post have mentioned that the bank need to do a valuation. Re: BUILDING MONTEREY Q2 WITH HENLEY***Bank Valuation Needed 98Jun 16, 2010 4:37 pm So we had our reinspection today. All the items that we picked up and all the items on our inspectors report were rectified to our satisfaction so we have faxed off the authorisation for our final invoice. Hopefully we can pick up the keys either Friday or Monday next week as the flooring is booked in for Wednesday Re: BUILDING MONTEREY Q2 WITH HENLEY***Reinspection Complete 99Jun 16, 2010 4:52 pm YAY!!! Congrats =) I hope it all goes really smoothly for you, and that the move isn't too stressful for you guys. It's a daunting task with a newborn (we moved interstate when ours was 4 months old, and it was not really a whole lot of fun!!). Should be worth it in the end - you have a beautiful home there =) Re: BUILDING MONTEREY Q2 WITH HENLEY***Reinspection Complete 100Jun 16, 2010 8:57 pm Congrats & hope it all goes well!
