I've bee going through the threads for a while (man this site is addictive) and noticed a few commodore homes threads being started and it will be good to see how everyones build goes. Building the Domayne with Commodore Homes on a corner block in Pearsall WA. I've attached the plan and will look at adding slab and block pictures over the weekend along with some colour selections as well Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Building "DOMAYNE" through COMMODORE HOMES in Pearsall WA Slab down 15-01-2010 Handover 16-06-2010 viewtopic.php?f=31&t=29049 Re: DOMAYNE - Commodore Homes in Pearsall WA 2Feb 09, 2010 6:21 pm Some pics of the build so far...slab and brickwork Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ I'll try to add a few more pics of where the brick work is up to now...the wall facing my neighbours has been completed but it is difficult to get a decent photo of that side with the activity on their site. I also like keeping an eye on the timeline as that gives an indication of when my build will be done. (Building a Commodore design too). Pearsall seems like a good suburb too. I am in Hocking, but I guess I won't really know how good a suburb it is until a lot of houses have been built around me. Of course, we have yet to find out who our neighbours are. Good luck. Pheonix - the bricks are Austral Dampier, difficult to say what colour they are a cream red mix that varies within each pallet, some were very red others very light, my brickies did a reasonable job mixing them (after being reminded a few times to mix them up) - not fantastic but i knew that was a risk when i picked that brick. I think the overall look has come out nicely, one or two bad patches (ie interal garage wall) nothing worth stressing over. One of my favourite things about Commodore was they were always ahead of schedule. They would tell us something would be starting next week and when we'd go to have a look it would already be done! You're timeline is very similar to ours - roof was completed about 8 weeks after slab went down. We had handover 10 weeks after that. I hope they keep up the pace for you Oh and I looove your bricks too! Also i'm in Karratha and Dampier is only 15 mins away, Would of thought it'd be just red or an iron ore dust colour haha Re: DOMAYNE - Commodore Homes in Pearsall WA 20Apr 05, 2010 11:44 am I am building in Pearsall too, in Brooklyn Estate... It looks like it will be a really nice area when it is complete, I am a little concerned about the graffiti that is popping up all around the place though... Wow I hadn't realised things had gotten that pricey in just a couple of years since I built, that is crazy with how much land is now costing if you aren't lucky enough to… 3 7051 Can you give advice on how to get missing certificates needed for a form 21? Our bank requires us to provide one but we are missing 4 building certificates from our first… 3 71776 yes it does, you've just not understood it. theres a difference. 4 5314 |
