We are going through our electrical plan and making all sorts of changes.... I can see it's going to end up costing an absolute fortune.
Can anyone give some tips on how to cut costs, and what we can do after handover to save money?
We want downlights throughout, but thought to save costs we could put them in the hall, living, main bedroom and al fresco area, and put normal lighting in the children's retreat and other 3 bedrooms. We are not sure how much power points will cost, as we haven't had our electrical appointment yet, but we ideally want 2 in each room...
Also, would it be easy to put the outdoor lighting in after handover, or is that something we should get done with the builders electrician?
Does anyone know what the average cost of putting in an extra power point is? (what the builders will most likely charge)? We are building with M.
Thanks
