Re: Issys 'Hamilton Alfresco'- YEY, guess what?...HAND-OVER 127May 11, 2010 3:32 pm It's pretty cool watching all the smileys dancing around this page- THANKS! Lex BTW, a retractable measuring tape?? Now? I think they should hand these out as we sign the contracts They should have given the measuring tape to my first SS as in the whole time he supervised my house he NEVER EVER had one! I had to keep letting him borrow mine. And I'm still having trouble up-loading any pics to photobucket and I'm getting really frustrated. GRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Re: Issys 'Hamilton Alfresco'- YEY, guess what?...HAND-OVER 128May 11, 2010 4:11 pm YAY Thats excellent!! Im so happy for you, that you have finally got to handover. So how long was that from start to finish? ie. slab to handover? Cant wait to see some pics! V Re: Issys 'Hamilton Alfresco'- YEY, guess what?...HAND-OVER 129May 11, 2010 5:13 pm Slab was laid on August 17th & hand-over was yesterday (May 10th ) so that makes mmmmmmmmmmm (calculating on my fingers ) - just short of 9 months. Boy, am I glad we weren't renting! BTW- my OH posted on the Hickies Thread that it took 7 months but my fingers calculated nearly 9 months (minus 1 week). Has any one been having any problems up-loading to photobucket? Had no probs a few weeks ago but now-GRR! I cant handle living with the parents for much longer Re: Issys 'Hamilton Alfresco'- YEY, guess what?...HAND-OVER 133May 11, 2010 10:16 pm Hey V, treasure the time you have with them . Looking back those 9 months went pretty quick. To all those who are waiting for anything- keep pushing, emailing, phoning, anything. You will get noticed eventually. And also take notes of the names of any other people working in the department you are trying to contact because if the person you are wanting to speak to is "out" or "busy", leave a message on their messagebank then try another person in that department. This worked for me a few times. Also, I truly believe that most building companies (remember I did say most) are the same and it is just pot luck which tradies you get. With the best of luck to all, Issy Now, I still cant get these darned pics up-loaded so you better block your ears cos I'M GOING TO SCREAM AAARRRGGGHHHHH!!!!
