Even though I have masses amounts of room, I dont have many cupboards for storage in here. Everytime I walk into my pantry-to-be I am in awe! I cant wait to fill it!!! Here's a few quick pics I just took. Now that I can see them on a photo I wish I had gone a darker shade in the floor grout (if I changed it now I'd get slugged a $500 admin fee). I didnt take many photos of the first time the bathrooms were done because I was so disgusted and depressed so I can only refer to my 'memory photos' in my head. Oh well on my grout colour- that's something I can change myself down the the track (If I can be bothered). I cant wait to see it when the wall tiles are up. My tiler said he'd be back tomorrow (sat) to do some more so it shouldn't be long now........ ensuite Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ laundry (sideways shot, sorry!) Must be such a relief to have it done right and know that your house is coming along! Fantastic =))) Re: Issys 'Hamilton Alfresco'-wet areas TAKE 2 93Mar 06, 2010 7:43 am Looks great, hopefully the tiler gets quite a bit more done today. Are those tiles you used for the girls bathroom and laundry standard or did you go pick them yourself? Cant remember seeing them there? Most standard things i saw were bloody cream. Re: Issys 'Hamilton Alfresco'-wet areas TAKE 2 96Mar 09, 2010 8:41 am Thanks guys, but I'm not holding my breath until its done. Todays quota entailed ensuite wall tiles and frieze tiles stuck on ready for grouting on monday. I'll duck in and take a photo as soon as I've washed this awful nit stuff out of my hair . I noticed that my pesky DDs had nits yesterday so I have been de-nitting them all day (grr) and now I am doing myself . Joy NOT!!! Re: Issys 'Hamilton Alfresco'-wet areas TAKE 2 97Mar 21, 2010 9:12 pm ^ EEEeeekk.. I tie my DD's hair so tight and spray so much anti nit spray in it......I have this absurd hatred of nits....Hope they've cleared away Issy. BTW: Tiles are gorgeous. Just a quick update 'cos it's been a while................ So Mr Wonderful Tiler has finished (actually, he finished about 3 weeks ago) and he did a wonderful job!. The painters have painted (again), the plumbers have plumbed (again) and they will have to come back again (yet once again I have had a tradie who didn't check to see if what they had done was right). We also had some concrete guys come and grind the slab flat as I had a few humps that needed de-humping. And guess what??? They, too, had to come back again as they missed the major hump. One made a comment that it shouldn't matter if I have humps with carpet and I politely informed him that I am tiling. Anyway, regardless of what flooring I'm going to do I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE A FLAT SLAB,PLEASE! He also asked me if I knew of any more 'humps' that needed attention as he didn't want to get on all 4's with his long stick to see if I had any that needed grinding. . I told him very nicely (with tears in my eyes ) that I am the owner, NOT the supervisor, so it wasn't my job to tell him where to hump and grind, and I suggested that if he didn't want to be called back again he'd have to get down on all 4's and see to it himself. Which brings me to the the SS subject - I now have a new one. My original SS has done his back in and has now left. It quite amused me (NOT!) that my first SS NEVER had a measuring tape or a spirit level so I was constantly offering him to use mine so he could see there and then that things weren't level or that measurements were out. Now I'm waiting on the towel rails and toilet roll holders to be put up (straight this time would be good!!!) and the house re-cleaned and then there will be a photo-fest happening on this thread! TAFMFN, Issy Re: Issys 'Hamilton Alfresco'- quick update cos its been a w 99Apr 12, 2010 3:25 pm sounds like such fun! Not Hope it all runs smoothly from here on out for you - hopefully not too much longer and you won't have to deal with them all anymore. I look forward to the PCI and handover announcements! =) Re: Issys 'Hamilton Alfresco'- quick update cos its been a w 100Apr 12, 2010 7:22 pm Hey Issy, good to hear from you!!
