It is great to here from the tradies that our builder is one of the best they do work for and does not cut corners. That is way we went with him and why we are willing to pay that little more for quality. Yesterday the concrete for our footings were laid and by the afternoon all the sand and mess was cleared ready for bricks to come. Our brickie should start on Monday pending rain. The wall between shower and rest of ensuite, is that a fill wall for just a 2000m high one? Am thinking of having similar showers and thinking about lighting Building tip No. 3: A raft slab will not get you down a river. A waffle pod slab does not go with maple syrup. Am thinking of having similar showers and thinking about lighting Yes, we are having walk-in showers, love them , gives a hotel/resort feel and the best thing is not glass to clean The walls are to the ceiling which is 10 foot high throuhout the home. For those who are interested, that is what you get when you tell your drafty you want 36 coarse ceilings or in the old measure 10 ft. Was moving in and the the cleaners were still finishing up. The day before we had 14 tradies here, it was a sprint to the finish.
