My builder always says that but they're still really slow to sort things out. I've resorted with checking progress every day. That seems to help things along a bit. Also, don't be afraid to escalate things to managers if you feel you're not being heard. You're handing hundreds of thousands of dollars to them; the least they can do is sort stuff out in a timely fashion.
