I am wondering is this done at your electircal appointment or do I need to goto Argus technolagies for this as indicated by PD sales guy. all I want is the wiring done as I have the syetem already.

Quality cable will costs between $2 and $3 per metre (if you now where to get it ) You might also want to consider any other cables you might need like Component, DVI, HDMI, S-Video, USB etc. Most wiring can be done later in a single story but can be difficult to impossible in a 2 story home! They suck the proverbial. I wouldn't recommend them. The finished product is fine but their service is appalling - it took over 2 months after we'd moved in for them to finally get everything finished (long story...if you want details, PM me). And from what I've heard from others associated with PD, it's rather typical of the people who were involved. Your results with Argus may vary but if you can do it yourself (some site managers are good like that...don't go through PD but talk to your site manager directly), then do so or maybe look at another company. PD told us they themselves wouldn't do it...that it was something we needed to discuss with Argus directly (we had a separate appointment with them to discuss data cabling, etc).
