All ours!! 408Aug 30, 2010 8:31 am Thanks everyone!! We had such a busy weekend at the house. DH has installed all the blinds except the media room ones. I'm just waiting for our furniture to go in so I can work out what will look best and then buy them from there. I'll get some pics of the rooms with the blinds installed and post them up soon. The renderers start at the house today to render our whole front facade and then next week the builder's painter is coming back to paint it (we got this free from our builder!!), then we are organising the concreter to come in soon after that to do the driveway, pathway outside the garage door and also an extension on our alfresco where we can place the bbq and we are also getting the whole "dead" side of our house done as DH is worried about water getting under our slab with drainage issues. So once that is all done we can then arrange to have our backyard turfed and the developer is arranging all our fences and front landscaping. And...once that is all done, that should be it!! Yay!! Here's a few more pics taken after handover. These two double doors lead into the media room. I really wanted them to be clear glass french doors but too exey so eventually they will be changed over: http://i831.photobucket.com/albums/zz237/nandn02/P8270035.jpg Need some help on how to furnish these sliding doors. All ours!! 410Aug 30, 2010 9:17 am Your house looks lovely! You've made great choices. As for the doors, I've used panel glides (panel blinds) in our place. I matched them to the architraves so they blend in. We've had lots of compliments on them. I'll dig up a photo if you like and post it later. Judie Re: n&n02 - It's ours!! Looks so good. Lucky you! Thanks boiselfish. I'm still very excited to have a new house. flagstaffIV Definitely panel glides... or even romans??? With some big billowy curtains!! Thanks for the photos flaggy! I love all your pics that you post - good inspirational ideas. He, he - that's exactly the style I like! The last photo of the bedroom is what I was planning for ours. I already have the blinds up so just need some sheers over the top. 2pais Your main family area is looking very airy, light and spacious. Panel glides or roller blinds will go well with the sliding doors. Thanks 2pais. A little too bright of an afternoon. The sun seems to be reflecting off the gloss tiles inside - it's too bright, almost need sunglasses lol. Hopefully when the doors are curtained that'll at least stop alot of light. We are also thinking of putting a big sunshade outside on the alfresco area??? Deemaree Flaggie does love YHL! Hi dee . Ummm, what's YHL??? Pebbles IKEA ... omg ... my favourite four-letter-word!!!!!!!!!!!! Lol - mine too!! Still have to get there to pick up those bar stools I've seen and do a huge shop!! Or do I really need more of a blockout blind like the romans etc? I don't know if anything "heavy" will suit so that is why I was thinking of sticking to flowey, sheer curtains . Sure looks like the type of track that I fitted to my house. My supplier said that the underside has a tray which drains to the front. They cut vertical slots in it.
