hi all
does anyone know anything about foxtel modulation - chucking the foxtel signal round the house so multiple tvs can watch the same foxtel channel?
also what about changing hte channel from remote location?
cheers

BUT two rooms cannot view two different channels at the same time.. UNLESS you get more foxtell boxes. the setup will require a central point to locate your foxtell box ( main tv ) a modulator with ir capibility and some ir targets. as well as all the fiddley bits that go with it... let me know if you would like some more in depth details.. or a rough quote for you to go on good luck Electrical - Automation - Smart wiring - New homes - Commercial - Data cabling] 1300 050 315 www.cenemelectrical.com.au www.facebook.com/cenemelectrical Re: foxtel modulation 4Jan 18, 2010 9:50 pm I used one of these, Foxtel Multiroom http://www.dse.com.au/cgi-bin/dse.store ... View/G1316 I only use it for controlling a remote foxtel box as it turned out to be cheaper than a compatable IR sender/receiver. IMO its the perfect solution if it is only 1 extra TV you want to show Foxtel on. Only potential issue is it requires a co-ax run to operate. One thing to be careful of is that many IR sender/receivers are not Foxtel approved and wont provide satisfactory operation. The cheapest I could find that was came in at around $250 |
