Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jan 15, 2010 4:37 pm Hello We have prestart in about 5 weeks. The only trouble I am having at the moment is trying to decide on the render on the elevation. We can have 2 colours. I already know we are going to have Surfmist Colourbond roofing. Does anyone have any pics of their house that I can have a peek at? I was going to post a link to the builders website so you can see the elevation but not sure if that is permitted?? Thanks Building in Perth. Celebration homes Oasis. But if you look at the Colorbond website at the house there with Surfmist in the colour centre bit it's rendered and a really nice colour scheme (well, in my opinion). We've used a dark grey Moroka on the main parts of the house with surfmist Moroka on corbelling around the windows. May give you some idea of colour? See our blog for photies. . . Re: Anyone have pics of their render colour with Surfmist roof? 5Jan 15, 2010 5:04 pm We have a fully rendered house with surfmist roof, gutters and fascia (although the fascia hasn't been painted yet!!). The walls were painted in mid december, and the roof went on two days before Christmas - so this is still all brand-spanking new! You can see in the photos that the front-most room is a slightly darker shade than the rest of the walls. Our wall colours are White Duck (quarter strength) for the majority of the house, and White Duck (full strength) for the accent. We've kept to really pale colours for the heat-reflective benefits - we want to keep our house as cool as possible in the Adelaide summer. We're really happy with the results =) Just wish they'd finish the rest so that we could live in it! We are having surfmist and a dark grey with some real white in a few places. Im thinking maybe going surfmist double - the roof is quite bright Thank you so much. We ended going with the terrain that’s part of our brick. 2 2531 Dover white or surfmist garage door. I am having trouble choosing a garage door. The outside of house will be tranquel retreat.
